Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

Turnaround

Being as most of our products are made fresh in small batches, most orders will be processed and shipped within 3-5 business days. As noted elsewhere on our site, we do produce a number of products for Whole Foods Markets, so individual order fulfilment time may be extended. If this becomes the case, we will send you an email informing you of such as a courtesy. 


Carriers

We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:

  • FedEx
  • UPS
  • USPS

Since we are located on the U.S. East Coast, ground transport to the West Coast may take up to six (6) days.

 

Order Tracking
When a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

 

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

 

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

 

 

Returns and Refunds

Due to our products containing mostly natural & organic ingredients, unfortunately we can *NOT" accept any returns or exchanges. A 100% refund is guaranteed for 14 days from the date of purchase for products that are defective due to manufacturing or due to processing errors.

 

Due to the Natural nature of our products, during the summer months certain products (butters, scrubs, etc.) may soften or melt during transit. Please consider this when ordering. Usually placing the item in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight will reconstitute the product.

 

Refunds will be made in the form of a company check in the event such action is required.

 

If products are lost or damaged in transit please contact the shipper and file a claim. Only insured orders will be reimbursed by the USPS. As mentioned previously, softening or melting may occur after delivery if left on a porch or in a mailbox in warm climates and is not considered “damaged” under these terms.
